Wedded Wednesday ~ Featured Wedding ~ Michella & Alejandro

Last year we had the honor of providing the music for Michella & Alejandro’s stunning wedding at Rancho Las Lomas with designer and planner Natalie Good of A Good Affair Wedding & Event Production.

This beautiful wedding was featured on Style Me Pretty last week and we had to share the blog as well as show you some of our favorite photos by Studio EMP from their big day! See the full article {here}

Wedding Photo Booths – something a bit different on your wedding day

Photos are a big part of any wedding, and when looking at most aspects of your wedding they are something that you bear in mind, be it which area of the venue to take photos in, which make up will make sure that you look your best in a photo, and so on.  Most of these photos are formal or at least posed, and so to get a more informal feel many people are including disposable cameras as table decorations to get the guests involved in the photos.

A new option that is now available is a photo booth at your wedding.  These are available at a lot of places that provide wedding equipment rental, and are another fun way of getting more informal photos.  These wedding photo booths aren’t like the ones you might see at a train station, they are clean and classy pieces of equipment that can fit into most venues, and have banners on to match the color of your wedding.  This can be a fun addition to your wedding day, with your guests all getting the chance to get a keepsake from the big day as well as some fun additions to your own wedding album.  For more information on photo booths visit our website.

Why a Photo Booth Is Better Than Smartphones

Smartphones are a touchy subject when it comes to weddings. Couples know that many of their guests will bring a smartphone, but they don’t want them to interfere with the wedding day. At the same time, they give a way for guests to easily capture photos of each other.

However, too many couples don’t ever get to see the photos their guests snap at their wedding. The smartphone owners take loads of photos of each other, but they don’t have any obligation to share them with the couple.

When you include a photo booth at your wedding, though, you do get to see the photos. Your guests can take photos alone or in groups, and can use a variety of great props for added fun. They get the added memento of the printed photos.

What makes it great for the couple — and the guests — is that you also get to see all the photos at the end of the wedding. We even offer a six-month online gallery where all the photos can be browsed!
